Studies and scientific evidence are pointing to factors such as a poor diet, environmental hazards and household chemicals as the causes of these life changing and threatening diseases.

Because there is so much information to digest I find that most parents are reactive rather than proactive. Responding, if they even do, after a friend tells them something it bad!, rather than taking the steps to prevent problems from occurring.

It doesn’t help that every day something “new” comes out informing the public that oops! something we thought was safe before is actually very lethal! Take BPA in plastics for example. BPA was virtually ignored as a issue for years until recently.

Remember the recent infant milk formula scandal in China? Melamine, a toxic chemical that is illegal in food, was/is being used in China to inflate the protein content in “food” and infant milk formula to make it appear more nutritious.

Children who consumed products tainted with melamine were experiencing serious kidney problems and several children even died. Many products had to be recalled during this scandal.

The video below shows that big brands including Nestle, Heinz, Pizza Hut, Snickers, M&Ms were affected by this scandal.

We must stop endangering the health and well being of our children. Their lives are too precious and too important to us to be jeopardized.

Our children are the future, by destroying their health and well being, we are destroying the future.

Nobody will stand up for your baby and your family if you don’t, it’s as simple as that.

We as parents have the power to change the world by raising babies that are strong, healthy and happy. We need to empower ourselves with information on how to raise our children properly.
